Woodland Trails Adventure Certifications Weekend

Join fellow Scouters for a weekend of hands-on learning, outdoor adventure, and connection at Woodland Trails. This exciting training opportunity provides Scouters with the skills and certifications needed to support adventure programming at both Woodland Trails and Camp Samac.
Participants will have the opportunity to complete training in a variety of program areas, including:
- Archery (Range Line Safety Officer)
- Pellet Rifle (Range Line Safety Officer)
- Axe Throwing (Range Line Safety Officer)
- Introduction to High Ropes
- Introduction to Mountain Biking
Bonus: Becoming a Range Line Safety Officer (RLSO) provides your Section or Group with access to discounted programming rates at Camp Samac and Woodland Trails when using the archery, axe throwing, and pellet rifle ranges.
More than just a training weekend, this is an opportunity to experience the programs firsthand, build confidence in delivering activities, share ideas, and connect with fellow Scouters.
Registration Fee
$75 per person
Your registration fee includes:
- All meals and snacks throughout the weekend
- Accommodation at Big Pine Lodge or a campsite of your choice
- Hands-on training and practical experience
- Opportunities to participate in adventure programming
- Networking and idea-sharing with fellow volunteers
- Campfire and social activities
Accommodation will be at Big Pine Lodge, with the option to sleep indoors in the lodge or camp outside in a tent or hammock.
