Northern Cascadia Scouter Development
at Camp Hughes – Prince George, BC

Friday August 18- Sunday August 20, 2023

We welcome you to join us for a fun-filled weekend of Scouter Development – and for the whole family!

  This Scouter Skills weekend is geared towards both our new and experienced section scouters and committee members. It will be a full weekend event held Friday August 18th-Sunday August 20th, 2023, in person at Camp Hughes and will offer up sessions to help scouters and youth leaders facilitate outdoor programing! 

We are planning this scouter development weekend to be family-friendly so your children are welcome to join in the learning and fun.

When: 6:30pm Friday, August 18th – 11:00am Sunday, August 20th, 2023
Where: Camp Hughes - 21970 Blackwater Rd, Prince George, BC V2N 6S3, CA


Sessions geared towards new and experienced Scouters

Who Should Attend?

  • All new and experienced Section Scouters
  • Your children
  • Potential Volunteers and Interested Parents are welcome!
  • Committee Members
  • All WoodBadge 2 participants

Registration Fee: $70/Adults & $40/youth under 14 ( Doubleknot fees)

  • Meals, snacks and beverages will be provided all day Saturday and Sunday (breakfast before departure).
  • We ask that you pack your own mess kit and water bottle.
  • This will be a Tent-only event as the campgrounds cannot accommodate trailers or campers.
  • Youth will participate in sessions AND have their own programming.

Event organizers will email a packing list a week before the training weekend..

Cancellation Policy
Booking cancelled with 2-3 weeks notice: Full payment will be refunded with the convenience fee subtracted from the total reimbursed. Booking cancelled with 1 week notice: 50% of total payment is refundable with the convenience fee subtracted from the total reimbursed. Booking cancelled with less than 1 week notice: No refunds. The organizers, as a last resort, may cancel booking due to extenuating circumstances: Transfer 100% of payment to another booking/event within the same fiscal year PLEASE NOTE: All cancellations must be done in writing and e-mailed to Krystal Reid: Krystal.Reid@scouts.ca. All refunds will be processed through the booking system and will take approximately 2-5 business days to be credited to your original method of payment **Phone messages will not be accepted as notice of your cancellation. ** Scouts Canada reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time.
