"OUTCON" at Camp Samac 

Saturday October 1st, 2022 

9 am – 4 pm 

“Outcon” is all about exploring new things, sharing ideas, learning new skills, and creating new Paths.

This day event is open to Scouters, youth, parents, and potential volunteers.  

 

Fun for All! 

The Invasive Species Centre, Seeds to Saplings and Adventure Smart, just a few of our partners, will be on hand to provide fun interactive

activities for everyone. And we cannot forget about food! Discover how to include your youth in the kitchen. 

 

New to Scouting?  

Join the Program Team to learn about to learn the FUNdamentals of bringing the Scout Method into the sections. There will be uniforms available to try on for sizing. 

 

Fall Challenge 

Learn how to unlock the power of the forces of Nature to find the Cosmo Crest and lull the dreaded Dragon back to sleep.

Come dressed to slay the Dragon for your chance to win “Best dressed”. 

 

Group Commissioners 

Are you a Group Commissioner? Leave feeling more empowered and confident in your ability to provide great, safe,

inclusive programing with confident Scouters.  

 

Camp Samac 

There will be plenty of time to explore Camp Samac. See if you hit the bullseye at the Archery Range or check out the activities at the Program Cabin. 

Don’t forget to check out the swap shop. Bring any surplus gear and swap for something you need. 

Join us at the end of the day to visit with friends and the opportunity to expand your network. 

Registration is $20 for the day and includes lunch. 

Camping is available Friday and or Saturday night for an additional fee.

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY Booking cancelled with 2-3 weeks notice: Full payment will be refunded with the convenience fee subtracted from the total reimbursed. Booking cancelled with 1 week notice: 50% of total payment is refundable with the convenience fee subtracted from the total reimbursed. Booking cancelled with less than 1 week notice: No refunds. PLEASE NOTE: All cancellations must be done in writing and e-mailed to Consuela St. John: consuela.stjohn@scouts.ca All refunds will be processed through the booking system and will take approximately 2-5 business days to be credited to your original method of payment . **Phone messages will not be accepted as notice of your cancellation. ** Scouts Canada reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time.
