Welcome to Camp Cedarwin!

Located in one of the few remaining Carolinian Forests in Essex County, Camp Cedarwin is 74 acres of unmatched beauty. The abundant rolling forest nestled along the picturesque bank of the Cedar Creek, provides the residents of Windsor and Essex County with a unique outdoor setting not far from work and home. In addition to the rare species of vegetation and various wildlife, including deer, Camp Cedarwin's trails and building facilities provide an unparalleled setting for all to enjoy.

Please note that Camp Cedarwin has 2 separate entrances:

1495 County Rd. 23 (aka Arner Townline) is our main entrance for Propeller Building, Peach Craft Centre and Heron Owl Egret Hawk and Raven tent sites and canoeing and archery.

2945 County Rd. 20 is the second entrance – for Sawmill and  Deer, Muskrat, Rabbit, Raccoon, Fox, Mole, Skunk tent sites, and Humber Hut.

If booking for a 3rd party like-minded organization and would like to book Camp Cedarwin, please note that you will be required  to submit a valid certificate of insurance from your provider once your booking has been completed. We will also issue you a contract which will need to be signed and returned to us prior to arrival. (Girl Guides of Canada groups are exempt from this.)

***Girl Guides of Canada Groups: if you're using the credit card issued to your group by your Head Office, please be sure to use the Head Office address  in the billing section or your payments may not be processed.

***We are not permitted to rent out our Camps for personal use of any kind. ie: camping, weddings/receptions, anniversaries, baby/bridal showers, photo shoots etc...

*Weekend Overnight bookings are based on a minimum 2-night stay from Friday arrival to Sunday departure*

Effective March 15, 2023, Camp Cedarwin, will be accepting bookings up to 1 year in advance on a rolling schedule automatically.

Please note that the SC Property Cancellation Policy terms and conditions will remain in effect.

Request to cancel a booking with more than 4 weeks' notice: 20% non-refundable deposit can be transferred to a new booking within the same fiscal year - September 1st to August 31st. (the 20% deposit can not be transferred to a pre-existing booking)
