Welcome to Camp Wetaskiwin!

In Short Hills Provincial Park. There are three building aside from the cabins. The Lodge sleeps 60 and has a kitchen suited for large groups. The Bunkhouse bunks 14 and has a kitchen. The Potlatch features a dining hall with kitchen. It is next to the cabins of which there are five, sleeping a total of 28. There is a washhouse available near the cabins. None of the kitchens have pots or dishes.

Please note: If you are a 3rd party like-minded organization and would like to book Camp Wetaskiwin, you will be required  to submit a valid certificate of insurance from your provider once your booking has been submitted. We will also issue you a contract that will need to be completed and return to us prior to you arrival date.

(Girl Guides of Canada groups are exempt from the above requirements)

***We are not permitted to rent out our Camps for personal use of any kind. ie: weddings/receptions, anniversaries, baby/bridal showers, photo shoots etc...

**All weekend bookings are based on a minimum 2 night stay. Friday early evening arrival, Sunday early afternoon departure with the exception of Tenting Site 2 that has a 1 night overnight option for those hiking the Bruce Trail.

To create a booking:

1. Select the category you would like. ie: Buildings Weekend Use

2. Select the Friday arrival date on the calendar.

3. From there you will see what can be reserved and add to your cart. If you require a campsite on the same weekend, simply change the category to Campsites Weekend use.  If you require a weekday booking, simply change the category to weekday, select the arrival date, change the duration (based on number of nights required) and then select the campsite or building.

4. Once you have added everything you need, kindly proceed to the checkout.

*Effective March 16, 2023, Camp Wetaskiwin, will be accepting bookings up to 1 year in advance on a rolling schedule automatically.

Please note that the cancellation policy terms and conditions remain in effect.

Request to cancel a booking with more than 4 weeks' notice: 20% non-refundable deposit can be transferred to a new booking within the same fiscal year - September 1st to August 31st. (the 20% deposit can not be transferred to a pre-existing booking)
