There are outdoor camping opportunities for older youth in a tenting area located at the Miller Campground which includes several camp sites and small buildings. In 1984 the G.L. Miller Camping Area was opened. Significant improvements to the property were implemented about 1996 when the Interpretation Centre was built as well as several picnic shelters, a large campfire circle, and new campsites.
The Miller campground area has 24 unserviced campsites. It is accessible by a dirt road. Some of the campsites have fire rings or fire pits. Outhouses are nearby. Water is available from the well near the Interpretation Centre. The interpretation center provides a sheltered space for instruction and study of the natural resources of the Yoho Scout Reserve. The building has electrical power and a well nearby.
The Chad O'Quinn Wing is fully contained with a small kitchenette, a fridge/freezer, microwave and warming plate. It has full washroom facilities, including showers. You can sleep up to 36 people in the O’Quinn Wing.
