Welcome to Yoho Scout Reserve!
Yoho Scout Reserve consists of 700 acres of forested land with extensive nature trails. The lake offers a sandy lakefront beach/dock area for water activities, with canoeing resources available for rent. This beautiful property also offers an outdoor chapel and a large playing field, including activities such as swimming, canoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing and camping!

There are two all-season lodges:
The Jensen Lodge, a rustic cabin which is is situated next to the lake about 200 meters south of the Yoho Scout Lodge. It is one-room structure more; suitable for small group use with a capacity of 1o people. Jensen comes equipped a wood burning stove for heating and a propane stove for cooking, as well as propane lanterns!
The Jensen Lodge opened in 1978 and is dedicated to the memory of Stephen Jensen. The cabin is nestled on the lake and is on the South Loon Watch Trail. The cabin was refurbished in 2017 and is serviced with off-site outhouses.
There is also the newly constructed Main Lodge with electrical facilities can accommodate two large groups. It is fully contained, complete with showers, washrooms and a large kitchen and dining area.

There are outdoor camping opportunities for older youth in a tenting area located at the Miller Campground which includes several camp sites and small buildings. In 1984 the G.L. Miller Camping Area was opened. Significant improvements to the property were implemented about 1996 when the Interpretation Centre was built as well as several picnic shelters, a large campfire circle, and new campsites.
The Miller campground area has 24 unserviced campsites. It is accessible by a dirt road. Some of the campsites have fire rings or fire pits. Outhouses are nearby. Water is available from the well near the Interpretation Centre. The interpretation center provides a sheltered space for instruction and study of the natural resources of the Yoho Scout Reserve. The building has electrical power and a well nearby.
The Chad O'Quinn Wing is fully contained with a small kitchenette, a fridge/freezer, microwave and warming plate. It has full washroom facilities, including showers. You can sleep up to 36 people in the O’Quinn Wing.

PLEASE NOTE:
If you are a 3rd party like-minded organization and would like to book Yoho Scout Reserve, you will be required to submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance, naming Scouts Canada as an additional insured, on a Comprehensive General Liability insurance policy in force, valid for the full duration of usage, in an amount no lesser than $2,000,000; such Certificate is required to show any exclusions contained in the policy, and must be submitted to our team within 72 hours prior to the reservation arrival date/time.
Upon completion of your booking, a contract will also be issued for signage, which must be completed and returned to our team within 72 hours in advance of the requested arrival date/time.
[Girl Guides of Canada groups are exempt from the above noted requirements]
Doubleknot Reservation Instructions:
1. Select the desired item from the Category dropdown menu
2. Select the desired number of nights from the Duration menu, then choose the preferred arrival date from the facility calendar to generate current availability
3. If inquiring for Weekend Overnight availability, please ensure to select a Friday or Saturday arrival.
[If your group is wanting to book the entire lodge, you must book both the Main Wing and the Chad O'Quinn Wing.]
Overnight booking check-in time: Anytime after 4 pm.
*Effective March 17,2023, Camp Yoho Scout Reserve, will be accepting bookings up to 1 year in advance on a rolling schedule automatically.
Please note that the cancellation policy terms and conditions remain in effect.
Request to cancel a booking with more than 4 weeks' notice: 20% non-refundable deposit can be transferred to a new booking within the same fiscal year - September 1st to August 31st. (the 20% deposit can not be transferred to a pre-existing booking)
*Effective January 1st, 2024, please note that a registration fee increase for Yoho Scout Reserve will be in effect*
