Welcome to Soldier's Lake and Miller Lake Park!

Miller Lake Park consists of 3600 Hectares of leased NS Provincial wilderness lands including area on the North side of Perrin Dr called Mainland Park; on the south side of Perrin Rd around Soldiers Lake.

The Miller Lake Mainland area has twelve Cabins owned and maintained by their respective Scouting Groups proving a year-round centre for their youth to camp, hike and experience the outdoors. The adjacent Soldiers Lake area provides extensive trails and camp sites for hiking, canoeing and wilderness camping.

Miller Lake Park and Soldier's Lake is now accepting bookings for Girl Guides and other like-minded third party organizations!

Please note that 3rd party organizations (excluding Girl Guides of Canada) must be able to provide a valid Certificate of Insurance with a $2 million dollar liability, naming Scouts Canada as an additional insured. 3rd party organizations  will also be required to sign a rental contract, which will be provided by the Property Bookings team upon completion of your booking. 

Cabin rentals are offered to groups by the respective Cabin Owners. Should you have any questions regarding rental availability and rates or for more information on access and use of our Park, please contact Miller Lake Park Committee

*Effective March 17,2023, Camp Soldier's Lake and Miller Lake Park, will be accepting bookings up to 1 year in advance on a rolling schedule automatically. 

Please note that the cancellation policy terms and conditions remain in effect.

Request to cancel a booking with more than 4 weeks' notice: 20% non-refundable deposit can be transferred to a new booking within the same fiscal year - September 1st to August 31st. (the 20% deposit can not be transferred to a pre-existing booking)

**NEW - Miller Lake weekend bookings are now based on a 2 nights stay - Friday Arrival to Sunday Departure. If you made your booking prior to October 16, 2023, your original reservation is secure. Any new bookings effective October 16, 2023 and onwards will require a 2 nights stay. Please select the category Weekend - Friday to Sunday, change the calendar to the month you'd like, then click on the Friday of the weekend you would like to stay.
