Welcome to Sunken Lake Scout Camp!

Sunken Lake Camp is a 15-minute drive from Wolfville.  This 2-Acre waterfront property ideal for swimming and canoeing.  Facilities include lodge with kitchen and dining area as well as 4 cabins.

Sunken Lake Scout Camp has been welcoming scouting groups since 1920, making it one of the longest-running camps in the province.  Drive-in access to the camp is by a right of way road.  It is not plowed during the winter, so groups may have to pack their gear in (400m walk).  

Firewood is provided.  There is an outdoor firepit. Drinking water is UV treated lake water, tested every 3 months.  Water is turned on from mid April until the end of October.  Outside these times, you are responsible for bringing your own drinking water.  Campers are responsible for bringing their own sleeping pads.

*Effective March 17,2023, Camp Sunken Lake Scout Camp, will be accepting bookings up to 1 year in advance on a rolling schedule automatically. 

Please note that the Cancellation Policy terms and conditions remain in effect.

Request to cancel a booking with more than 4 weeks' notice: 20% non-refundable deposit can be transferred to a new booking within the same fiscal year - September 1st to August 31st. (the 20% deposit can not be transferred to a pre-existing booking)

Please note:

If you are a 3rd party organization and would like to book Sunken Lake Scout Camp, you will be required  to submit a valid certificate of insurance from your provider once your booking has been submitted. We will also issue you a contract that will need to be completed and return to us prior to your arrival date.

(Girl Guides of Canada groups are exempt from this)
