Welcome to Chickakoo Scoutland Camp!
Chickakoo Scoutland Camp offers rugged wilderness camping and a lake for canoeing (swimming not recommended). There is a rough shelter with bunks, a wood stove, and a cooking counter. There are also tenting spots and two kybos. Chickakoo is a year-round facility with Lake Frontage located 35 km NW of Edmonton.

Chickakoo Camp offers:
- A bunk house which will accommodate 39 people.
- A cooking shelter is attached to the bunk house.
- Hiking and cross country skiing trails.
- Archery and shooting range for qualified users (valid Certified Rangemaster required)
- Canoes are available for qualified canoeists.
- A tenting area
Please note, drones and fireworks are not permitted at Chickakoo Camp at any time as per Parkland County Bylaws.

Archery/Pelletry/Range reservations will require a valid, Certified Rangemaster to secure your booking. If your group is in need of a Rangemaster, please contact the Chickakoo team/Ray Dunn (Council Range Activities Coordinator) in advance of reservation arrival by contacting scoutlandchickakoo@gmail.com
*Effective March 16, 2023, Chickakoo Scoutland Camp, will be accepting bookings up to 1 year in advance on a rolling schedule automatically.
Please note that the Scouts Canada Cancellation Policy terms and conditions will remain in effect.
Bookings transferred with more than 4 weeks' notice: 20% non-refundable deposit can be transferred to another booking within the same fiscal year - September 1st to August 31st.
**CHICKAKOO SCOUTLAND IS NOW ACCEPTING BOOKINGS FROM THIRD PARTY, LIKE-MINDED ORGANIZATIONS!**
If you are a 3rd party organization and are interested in reserving Chickakoo Scoutland Camp, your group will be required to submit a valid Certificate of Insurance listing Scouts Canada as an additional insured on a Comprehensive General Liability insurance policy in force, valid for the full duration of the rental period, in an amount no lesser than $2M. Such certificate is required to show any exclusions in the policy.
You will also be required to sign and return in full, a third party rental contract which will be administered to your group upon completion of the booking.
(Girl Guides of Canada groups are exempt from the above noted requirements.)
