Welcome to Camp Sheldrick!
(Located in Winchester, Ontario)
Camp Sheldrick is located on the Nation River at Hess Creek North, and is suitable for all age groups! The property is 55 acres consisting primarily of a meadow with a small wooded area, and groomed sites on the south side of Hess Creek (which flows through the site) each with their own firepit.
There is wilderness camping on the north side of the creek with water access to the Nation River (via Hess Creek) for canoe tripping. Camp Sheldrick also offers a dining shelter, an outdoor chapel, a large council fire circle, kybos, and a camping area.
The property is leased from South Nation Conservation and is a half hour's drive southeast of Ottawa. Winchester is the nearest town for shopping.

Please note that 3rd party organizations that are booking Camp Sheldrick, must be able to sign a contract which will be issued to your group after your booking is complete, and be able to provide a valid certificate of insurance with a $2 million dollar liability, naming Scouts Canada as an additional insured.
(Girl Guides of Canada groups are exempt from this requirement).
How to create a booking:
Select a category, then select the date of arrival on the calendar, and, if required, select the duration (number of nights). Once you see the site you would like to book, click on "reserve" to add it to your cart. After you have reserved all that your group requires, you will then proceed to the check out.
*Effective March 16, 2023, Camp Sheldrick, will be accepting bookings up to 1 year in advance on a rolling schedule automatically.
Please note that the cancellation policy terms and conditions remain in effect.
Request to cancel a booking with more than 4 weeks' notice: 20% non-refundable deposit can be transferred to a new booking within the same fiscal year - September 1st to August 31st. (the 20% deposit can not be transferred to a pre-existing booking)
