Welcome to Camp Wildman!
Camp Wildman is a beautiful 100 acre wooded wilderness property situated on the south side of 8th Concession West of Tiny Township in Simcoe County, approximately 40 km northwest of Barrie. The camp has been used by Scouts Canada since being purchased from the Wildman family in 1937.

**All weekend bookings are based on a 2 night minimum stay. Friday evening arrival and a Sunday afternoon departure.**
All bookings must be created with a minimum 14 days advance. Please contact the camp team directly if you wish to request a booking with less than 14 days notice to see if we can accommodate you by emailing:

Please note: If you are a 3rd party like-minded organization and would like to book Camp Wildman, you will be required to submit a valid certificate of insurance with a $2 million dollar liability, naming Scouts Canada as an additional insured from your insurance provider once your booking has been submitted. We will also issue you a contract that will need to be completed and return to us prior to your arrival date.
(Girl Guides of Canada groups are exempt from this requirement)
***Girl Guides of Canada Groups: if you're using the credit card issued to your group by your Head Office, please be sure to use the Head Office address in the billing section or your payments may not be processed.
***We are not permitted to rent out our Camps for personal use of any kind. ie: weddings/receptions, anniversaries, reunions, baby/bridal showers, photo shoots etc...
*Effective March 16, 2023, Camp Wildman, will be accepting bookings up to 1 year in advance on a rolling schedule automatically.
Please note that the cancellation policy terms and conditions remain in effect.
Request to cancel a booking with more than 4 weeks' notice: 20% non-refundable deposit can be transferred to a new booking within the same fiscal year - September 1st to August 31st. (the 20% deposit can not be transferred to a pre-existing booking)
To create your booking with Camp Wildman, please follow the steps provided below:
- Select desired accommodation[s] from the “Category” dropdown menu
- Select the desired arrival date from the calendar [if inquiring for a weekend booking, please change the date to a Friday arrival]. *Weekend Overnight bookings are based on a 2-night minimum stay. Friday arrival to Sunday Departure*
- Upon completing these steps, you will see which assets are currently available with applicable pricing and capacity numbers.
- Click on “Reserve” and add preference[s] to your cart
- Kindly proceed to the checkout and complete the transaction accordingly!
