Welcome to Camp Byng!
Camp Byng is located in Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast just north of Gibsons, BC. With 1200 metres of ocean foreshore, Camp Byng is the premier Scout property of the Pacific Coast Council and is in close proximity to a variety of local natural parks. There are three lodges available onsite, each with sleeping "hulls". Each lodge has a full commercial kitchen, large activity room, and some dormitory space.
The camp has wilderness areas for tenting and exploring, some with open-air style shelters. Camp Byng also has campfire sites, a spiritual centre, a nature trail, basketball court, parachutes and tug-o-war ropes.
Although the low ropes course and archery range are not yet available to book, we are very excited to have these programs up and running in the coming weeks!
Firewood included with all bookings; potable water provided onsite with access to campfire pits and kybos.

**All Weekend Overnight bookings are based on a minimum 2 night stay (Friday evening arrival to Sunday afternoon departure). If you would like to extend your stay by one day before or after the weekend, please change the category to weekday overnight and add the extra night.

To create your booking with Camp Byng, please follow the steps outlined below:
- Select the “Category” dropdown menu before choosing preferred accommodations
- Select the desired arrival date from the calendar [if inquiring for a Weekend Overnight booking, please select a Friday arrival].
- Upon completing these steps, you will see which assets are currently available with applicable pricing and capacity numbers. To view additional information, please select "More" within each asset section
- Click on “Reserve” and add preference[s] to your cart
- Kindly proceed to the checkout and complete the transaction accordingly
Please note: If you are a 3rd party organization and would like to book Camp Byng, you will be required to submit a valid Certificate of Insurance from your provider with no less than a $2 million liability naming Scouts Canada as an additional insured. You will also be required to sign a contract which will be issued to your group upon completion of your booking.

Request to cancel a booking with more than 4 weeks' notice: 20% non-refundable deposit can be transferred to a new booking within the same fiscal year - September 1st to August 31st. (the 20% deposit can not be transferred to a pre-existing booking)
