Welcome to George Lake Scout Camp!

 

The George Lake camp is a 60 hectare wilderness camp owned by Scouts Canada,  located on George Lake in  the Whiteshell Provincial Park Manitoba.

  • Located approximately 6 km Southeast of Pointe Du Bois. During the open water season it is accessible only by boat or canoe via the Winnipeg River. During winter when ice conditions are safe the camp is accessible by snowmobile, snowshoeing or hiking via the Winnipeg River. There is a 3 km portage between the Winnipeg River and the camp.
  • Facilities include a wilderness cabin containing wood stove heating; a gas stove and oven; cooking equipment; bunk bed frames. The cabin will accommodate approximately 12 people. A number of wilderness tenting sites are also available.
  • There is a pit toilet, six canoes and a large beach. 

 

Camp fee is $50.00 per night / all included

*Effective March 16, 2023, Camp George Lake, will be accepting bookings up to 1 year in advance on a rolling schedule automatically. 

Please note that the cancellation policy terms and conditions remain in effect.

Bookings transferred with more than 4 weeks' notice: 20% non-refundable deposit can be transferred to another booking within the same fiscal year - September 1st to August 31st.
