Camp Woodlands is a wilderness camp located on the clear waters of Lake Cowichan. There are basic facilities including a large kitchen and eating area, pit toilets, a gazebo with woodstove, a large playing field, separate camping areas and of course, direct access to Lake Cowichan for canoeing and kayaking, or swimming from the floating dock in our marked swimming area.
The facility is unmanaged and you will need to bring in all cooking, camping and food supplies. This includes stoves, fuel and cooking materials. A full list of what to bring can be found on the Facilities page. As of 2018, we do not have potable water on site and recommend you bring drinking water with you.
Camp Woodlands is a great backcountry campground for youth and adults alike, offering a true outdoor experience for all!
