Welcome to Camp Sumas!

Sumas Mountain Scout Camp is a little piece of wilderness near Abbotsford, BC. There is one cooking shelter, a few outhouses scattered around, and many places for tents. There is a rock face used for climbing and rappelling near the main camp. Water is available from a stream, often dry in warm season, and must be purified. It is better to bring water for drinking.

**All bookings must be made 3 days or more in advance. 

*Effective March 16,2023, Camp Sumas, will be accepting bookings up to 1 year in advance on a rolling schedule automatically. 

Please note that the cancellation policy terms and conditions remain in effect.

Bookings transferred with more than 4 weeks' notice: 20% non-refundable deposit can be transferred to another booking within the same fiscal year - September 1st to August 31st.

Camp Sumas is not accepting 3rd party bookings at this time.

To make a day use booking during the week, please change the category to Day Use - Weekdays, then change the calendar and select the date you would like to book, then change the duration of days. Upon completing this step, please select "Reserve" and add preference[s] to your cart before proceeding through the check out process.

To make a days use booking on the weekend, please change the category to Day Use Weekends, change the calendar and click on the arrival date, click on reserve and proceed to the checkout.
