Welcome to Ruckell Point Scout Camp!
Located in British Columbia, Ruckell Point Scout Camp is a beautiful property located in a remote area within Columbia Shuswap, comfortably nestled near the town of Angelmont. Ruckell Point is operated by the 1st Kamloops Scout Group. There are hiking trails, a formal campfire circle, and lake fronteage with canoeable water.
There are 12 Cabins onsite, each 10x16' with wooden bunks suitable for 8. A large log cabin contains a mess hall with 5-8 person tables, and kitchen equipped with a double oven, 4 burner with large griddle propane stove, an outside BBQ and electric refrigerator [groups must bring their own generator]. Access is provided to the tenting site and campfire pit.
There are 5 outhouses onsite, one of which is located in the tenting area, 2 are located at the lodge, and the other 2 are located past Cabin 12
***No potable/running water onsite [no showers or flush toilets]***
***Guests are required to bring their own sleeping gear and drinking water; mattresses/sleeping gear are not provided onsite. There is access to the campfire pit; however, firewood is not included with rental***

If you are a third party, like-minded organization and are interested in reserving Ruckell Point, please note that you will be required to submit a Certificate of Insurance naming Scouts Canada as an additional insured on a Comprehensive General Liability insurance policy in force, valid for the full duration of the rental period, in an amount no lesser than $2,000,000; such certificate is required to show any exclusions contained in the policy.
You will also be required to sign a third party rental contract which will be provided to you upon completion of your reservation.
(Girl Guides of Canada groups are exempt from the above noted requirements)
**** Please note that all bookings with Ruckell Point Scout Camp must be made within a minimum 3 days prior to the desired arrival date***
Weekend Overnight bookings are based on a required 2 night stay, from Friday arrival to Sunday departure
To create your reservation with Ruckell Point, please follow the steps outlined below
1. Scroll down the page slightly to locate the facility calendar and choose desired item from the Category menu
2. If inquiring for Overnight (Sun-Thurs) availability, please select the desired number of nights from the Duration dropdown menu before selecting the preferred arrival date
3. If inquiring for Weekend Overnight (Fri-Sun) availability, please ensure to select a Friday arrival
4. Upon completing these steps, the calendar will generate current availability with applicable pricing and capacity numbers [to receive additional information regarding the Entire Camp rental, please select the "More" option
5. Select Reserve to add preferences to your cart then proceed through the checkout process
